Mission & Justice

From hands-on projects to financial support, we dedicate considerable time and resources to assist the impactful work of nonprofit organizations both locally and internationally. Below are just a few of the ministry partners CUCC collaborates with on a regular basis.

Lazarus House

The CUCC's connection with Lazarus House is strong, as the organization is based in our original church building in downtown St. Charles. Lazarus House is a valued partner, dedicated to 'neighbors helping neighbors in crisis.' From hosting monthly dinners and holiday feasts to organizing service projects throughout the year, CUCC is actively involved in supporting the meaningful work of Lazarus House.

Back Bay Mission

Located in Biloxi, Mississippi, Back Bay Mission is one of our longest-standing mission partners. For decades, both our adults and youth have participated in annual work tour trips to Back Bay. In addition to sending volunteers to assist with various projects, CUCC is financially committed to supporting Back Bay Ministry as they work to strengthen neighborhoods, promote justice, and transform the lives of those along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

World Relief

As a World Relief 'Good Neighbor' team, CUCC supports refugees as they start new lives in the Chicagoland area. Whether it's furnishing a new apartment, providing a ride to a doctor's appointment, or sharing a meal together, we address both the financial and practical needs of our World Relief families.

The Night Ministry

Night Ministry is a Chicago-based organization dedicated to offering human connection, housing support, and healthcare to those experiencing poverty. From Christmas benefit events to preparing and serving meals, CUCC members actively work to support Night Ministry’s clients.
